I am currently a graduate, I’m working in a high end barber shop in downtown seattle and I’m moving next month to Manhattan to work in fashion as a men’s groomer. I have an internship with Vivienne Mackinder and this is my second Caper. I won beacon as well and have some pointers on entering that. hey there, Love your blog :) i think it is so awesome to be able to look through your posts, it is getting me all the ore excited for when i finally get the chance to apply at the paul mitchell school in new york. even though it is still quite aways away for me .. I am only 17, and from canada, I am so excited yet scared, even thoug i know i sitll have a few years to go, but it is my dream, and i am so determined to do it ! :)

Please please pleeeease tell me what is on the core practicle test! I am confident on the written, but I dont know what Ill have to do on the practicle exam.

Being a hair stylist is my biggest dream. Paul Mitchell is the school I am planning to attend. That color bar was calling my name when I took my tour of PM a couple months ago. But to tell you the truth, I am so nervous because this is what I want to do with my life and it scares the crap out of me for some reason. I guess because I feel like it's going to be a lot of competition and what if it doesn't go like I hope it will. Any advice to calm my nerves?

I am a learning leader at a partner school. Like your blog. I have a couple collectible Paul mitchell items. I have his autograph in a signed book from 74. I have the viva issue. I have the biography written by his former gf. I also have a book written by Paul Mitchell from 1980 with the intro to the line. We used pm in salon since 1980 and we met him at ins 1981 with j braa. Would you like pics?
